Methods taps into the livelihood of several talents across the apparel industry and introduces them to various certification and skill assessment programs. We are heavily involved with Skill Development and Assessment under SKILL INDIA initiative by Government. We are Master Trainer and registered assessment body with the ministry. We have conducted centre assessment for over 2,000 centres. We are also Government accredited trainers in South Africa.

Assessment

We are a leading assessment agency empanelled with Apparel Made ups and Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council(AMHSSC), Leather Sector Skill Council, Ministry of Textiles(MoT) and Ministry of Rural Development(MORD). We have been associated with the skill assessments dince 2008 with our long term Partner IL&FS under SEAM project managed by MORD. In the Past 10 years we have accomplished successful assessments of

  • More than 1.5 lacs candidates under MORD SEAM 1 TO 11 Projects since 2008
  • Approx 1 lac candidates assessed under ISDS run by Ministry of textiles
  • Over 10000 PMKVY Assessments done for various job roles in the Apparel domain.

Training Of Trainers

We have a very rich experience of almost 10 years of conducting TOT. We have devised a system of creating a rating for each trainer followed by TOT courses to strengthen their skills. We are appointed as Master Trainers to the Apparel Made ups and Home Furnishing Sector Skill council (AMHSSC) under NSDC. During the last 2 years we have conducted more than 90 TOTs covering over 2500 Trainers.

We have an in-house team of experienced Trainers and association with freelancers to cover PAN India needs of TOTs. We strictly adhere to the guidelines of NSDC and execute TOTs over 10 days , which covers 2 days Domain Training and one day for domain assessment , this is then followed by 6 Days of Platform skills training followed up by assessments on the last day. Domain Skills Training includes an overview of PMKVY, it’s objective, a clear understanding of QP, job role related aspects through theory and practical followed by Assessment.
Platform Skills Training includes topics like workplace safety,Health and Hygiene,Communication,Motivation,Time Management.Training Styles and their effectiveness,Discipline at workplace,Ethics,Values and Morals and any more through theory and practical followed by Assessment.
